RJ Wilmoth pics

After retiring in 1984 and spending a 2nd lifetime with Delta Airlines, RJ googled ABCCC and found us.  He’s sent a few pics that are now in a gallery.

Just finished putting RJ’s 106 pics into the gallery… Some that many of us have never seen… Like 62-1857’s belly-in at Eglin in 1965

RJ,

Good photos of 62-1857! Trying to remember, but I think it was a GPES extraction type drop, not a LAPES. (They were snatching tires & jeeps @ the time) Very young crew, the names Daniel Boone, and Davey Crocket, come to mind, don’t laugh!! True Stuff! (Dyess Crew) I was in the 4485th Test Wing when this happened, probably spring or early summer of 65. At that time was the Assist C/C on 62-1825, work’d for a guy named Duane C. Meadows (Tinkerbell) GI nicknames! We split the time @ G’ville,TX during the ABCCC mod period. Rotated back to Dyess in late 65, then to the PI in early 66. Out in Dec 70, SouthernAir 71-72, Lockheed Martin 72-2001, Aero Sky,LLC 2001-2006, Transafrik 2006> BstRgds,J.L(Jim)Barnes
